Junior Golf Camp
4 DAY CAMP: TUESDAY – FRIDAY
8:30am to 11:30am
$400

Open to girls and boys ages 7-14. This comprehensive program will include (12) hours of instruction, to include: full swing, chipping, pitching, putting, bunker, rules, etiquette, and “on course” play and instruction (depending on availability of the course)
All skill levels welcome. Groups will be divided by age and level of ability.
The emphasis is an approach that teaches all aspects of the game. A typical week would look like:
Tuesday: Safety/ Rules/ Ettiquette. General golf knowledge. Athletes rotate from the Driving Range to Putting Green and Short Game area. Focus on fundamental skills of golf with introduction to mechanical and technical elements at each station.
Wednesday: Safety and recap of Day 1. General golf knowledge. Athletes rotate from the Putting Green to Short Game area and Driving Range with focus on mechanical and technical training elements.
Thursday: Recap of first 2 days. Rotate from Short Game to Driving Range and Putting Green. Different games and drills to focus on applying the technical training to improve the skills learned. Drivers introduced at driving range along with power drills.
Friday: End of week review all components of golf knowledge and necessary skills to play Golf. More fun and games with individual or team competitions at the stations.
Please Drop-off 10 minutes prior to class and pick up promptly at the end of each class from the right side of our driving range.
Timely drop-off and pick-up is required! This not only helps our Golf staff manage their responsibilities effectively but also ensures a smooth transition for the children. We ask that parents please leave the teaching area during class to avoid distractions.
Equipment
All golfers must bring their own clubs. Sterling Farms Pro Shop carries a wide selection of junior golf clubs at very competitive prices. As a participant in our program, you will receive an additional 10% discount.
We strongly recommend NOT having adult clubs “cut down” for kids. They are far too heavy and stiff and can cause poor swing habits that can last a lifetime. Let one of our PGA/LPGA professionals help in selecting the right clubs for your children.
Rental Program
There will be no junior golf club rental program in 2025. We will be offering used junior golf sets on a first come, first serve basis. Prices vary based on the size set. Used clubs may be purchased after March 17, 2025 while supplies last. All sales final.
Weather Policy
There will be no cancellations or makeup classes due to rain.
In the event of inclement weather, sessions may be held indoors.
